Know about grade:
Alloy 321 is a special alloy having a higher amount of carbon. Its structure is designed for improved creep resistance and higher strength in most reducing environments. The carbon content of the pipes enables dual certifications. These are not hardened by the heat treatment process. However, a cold working process is used to retain its strength and hardness while avoiding brittleness.
It has higher thermal conductivity allows using in high-temperature applications. It alloyed with resisting elements developed for use in chromium carbide precipitation range. Stainless Steel 321 / 321H Seamless Pipes are used in most dilute and concentric organic acids. These perform well in chloride solutions even in high concentrations.
These are easily welded and processed by standard shop fabrication process. It has higher work hardening rate makes it machinable with the standard machining process. SS seamless pipes resist polythionic acid stress corrosion cracking.
Testing and qualifications:
All pipes supplied by Jay Hind Metal & Tubes are tested according to the relevant standards. In all cases, the pipe leaking tests are performed and supplied as per EN 10204 3.1. We focus on each and every customer’s requirement regarding quality. various tests are performed by us initial tests are hardness test, intergranular corrosion test, positive material test, chemical test, destructive test, non-destructive test, mechanical test, and hardness test.
Other tests are pitting corrosion test, radiographic test, ultrasonic test, micro and macro test, compression tests and more.
Stainless Steel 321 / 321H Seamless Pipes are packed in standard packing of the wooden box, crates, cases, cartons, and pallets with plastic end cap support. Moreover, it is coated by a thin film of plastic that avoids oxidation while exporting.
